VTVM Probe Troubles

Take it apart, and clean the contacts. They are not gold or silver, so you
can give them a once over with an eraser. Just so they are shiney. You could
then experiment with some lithium grease, or PRO GOLD (deoxit) but I would
just clean it and leave it alone. By the way....The same holds true for the
phone plug going in to the meter. Clean it with some metal cleaner and paper
towels. I bet it currently looks somewhat black! Your ohms readings will now
be solid, not drifting around.
