HX-20 HELP!!!!!

Hi, gang,

Well, I'm stumped. My HX-20 seems dead as a stone, except for a
whopping good spotting signal. My HR-20 is hot as a pistol so thank
goodness for that.

I can get a loud spot signal into the HR-20, so I know the SB
Generator, mixers, IF and VFO are working. The spot signal peaks
with the drive tune as one would expect. Beyond that, there's no
indication of output. I've discovered a smoked R76 which I replaced.
Also, R81 and R82, the two 7W resistors in the 150V LV line, have
increased in value beyond 10% so I'm going to change them, but I
doubt that they're at the root of the problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should hang an
o'scope probe to start looking for lost signals in the chain? I'd
sure appreciate some suggestions.

73,
