I think it's called "free enterprise". If a feller wants to sell something,
it's up to him to decide if he wants to get the most out of it he can. You
don't have to bid if you dont want to pay the price. That's obvious. I see no
reason for someone to sell something at half price just to make sure it "has
a good home". It's just like stamp collecting, antique furniture, or any
other valuable items. You want what the market can bear. It's also called a
profit. That IS what makes the world go around. From the church to the
government and all in between. AL
