Xtal grinding

Clover lapping compound.  Still availablwe from [among others]
McMaster-Carr.  Sorry, I have no idea which grit would be best.
600-grit WetOrDry automotive sandpaper on plate glass works too if you
keep it wet.  Wet the glass first so the back of the paper sticks to it.
