SB-303 LMO

Hello all, I have a SB-303 rcvr that needs the lmo adj, it works but will
not go all the way down in freq. The brass collar around the lmo shaft, set
screw was loose letting it get out of adj. I have tried too re-a-line the
little plates with small arms on them with the collars little set screw and
then re tighten the collar on lmo shaft. Have turned shaft all way right
and left but will not go below 048 have the SB650 display hooked with it.
Oringal problem was the tunning dial was not correct readout with SB650
display is ok. Done the adj procedure as per the manual but seen it was
still off. Then noticed the little brass collar was loose. Any ideas from
anyone or would it be beter too send it to RTO or some place like that to
get the lmo fixed right. Rcvr works very well just don't know where you are
listening at. I use this rcvr with a SB-401 trans.                              tnx   W9CAU  terry
