I think the 12 and 12A differances are mostly cosmetic. (knobs, location of
controls etc.)
It works very well.
You need the power supply that has switchable B+
I think it was 300 and 250, 'cuz it does not use the same setting as the
SB102,HW101 stuff.
It seems to receive as well as the HW101, with about the same dial
calibration.
Put it this way... for a cheap, single circuit board rig... It is better in
all respects than an Eico 753.
Oh, it has more output that the SB102/HW101 also.
I think it is single conversion, and the AGC might not be as smooth as the
bigger Heathkits.
One of the real 'fun' rigs to play with. (like a Drake 2B/2C!!!)
