Magnum Six speech processor

I just received a very nice Magnum Six RF processor from one of the
subscribers (thanks, Joe) which I intend to connect to a SB-401. I was able
to reverse-engineer it for the schematic and later found a write-up on it in
Nov. 72 QST with the schematic of a similar unit.

I would like some suggestions on how to hook it up to a SB-401 and how to
adjust it. I have a good scope and a SB-610 (with 2-tone generator). I
assume it connects between V3 and the 3395 crystal filter (??).

Any comments on its operation and effectivity would be much appreciated.
