PS-3 HV bench supply info/part needed

Hi All,
I am looking for a manual for this unit.  Copy or scanned; full or
partial is fine.  Will cover any costs, etc...
I just opened this supply up and there are two parts that look like tall
metal tubes with octal base, but no markings... anyone know what these
are?
Also,  I lost one of the plastic knobs for the binding posts (the red
one,) anyone have a spare one of these?
