Hi Heath Lovers.... A great way to get rid of any annoying smell from a radio is to
do the following....
Clean the rig up as usual then place the rig in a box with a couple of those "Bounce"
clothes fabric softener sheets (the ones you use in the dryer) ... Place the sheets
over the so called problem area or cover the inside of the rig completely in them....
Leave the box sitting closed for a couple of days,,,,, The smell will be gone.....
Another idea is to spray the unit lightly with Lysol spray !
