Just my 2 cents worth:  I'm sure in some cases, for that percentage of the population posessing of what is known as 'addictive personality', this is right-on.  As one who does service work with recovering alcoholics and addicts, I've seen the mentality Malcolm describes.  However, I don't believe ALL collectors should be painted with one broad brush.  Generally speaking, the general consensus is that sweeping generalizations are generally only applicable in a general manner HI.
My take on prices:  in terms of real dollars, it's so dirt-cheap I cannot justify complaining.  REmember what this stuff cost new and where wage scales were then.  'Nuff said.
