It all depends on the circuit. In many circuits, the value of
capacitance is critical. In others it is not so critical. In others,
any value over a minimum works fine.
You can usually use the same capacitance value with a higher voltage
rating without problem. In some circuits you can use a "close"
capacitance value with the same voltage rating.
I would not recommend replacing any capacitor with a grossly different
capacitance value.
