Cleaning equipment

Ummm... you know, part of the wonder of getting this equipment running
again, is the process of getting it back on the air. Like life, the point
is the journey, not the endpoint.
Why rush the process and risk damage? Water, forceps, bits of rag
and time will allow you to enjoy the procedure, knowing you're not
going to ruin the gear in the process.
Good things take time. Working on vintage gear is a good thing.
Slow down and enjoy it!
