E-BAY Partial Kit SB-104

FYI:

There is an unfinished Heathkit SB-104 listed on E-BAY that's about 90%
completed by the original builder. It appears to include the rest of the
parts. Look under E-BAY #275722930. The current bit is $201.

NOTE: I informed the seller that his unit is an SB-104, NOT an SB-104A. The
unit is a series number 02514 which means it has only a few of the SB-104
engineering updates as well; certainly does not have the upgraded SB-104A
receiver front end board. So for that person who buys it, the receiver
sensitivity will only be in the area of 0.8 to 1.3uV, if he's lucky along
with careful alignment since the 02514 series has very few receiver front
board & chassis engineering update modifications to improve sensitivity, so
be aware.

This 02514 series would have in the manual (with inserts) mainly the CW
keying and VFO FM-ming modifications only, so you'd hafta be aware of this
as well. There is a big list of engineering updates that came about over
time; most of which came later than this series, and were incorporated in
later production lots. All SB-104s were updated by the 05551 series and in
all the "A" versions with a new receiver front end & VFO filter board (plus
a few other improvements).
