SB-301 Receiver

    I have two questions concerning the SB-301 receiver:

1. My tuning dial has started to slip and I have adjusted the threaded shaft
that slides up and down in the vertical slot which offered some improvement
but still hasn't cured it. What else can I do to correct the problem?

2. I noticed I have only 2 filters installed (this radio was built by someone
else) and it appears there is room for 3 total. I believe the filter I am
missing is in the AM mode because when I switch to that position I get no
received audio.
