GFI Devices...

I have NO quarrel with those who use GFI outlets. Requiring
them
in some establishment that will rent or hire out buildings or
rooms or apartments is OK. Requiring ME as a private homeowner
to install and/or use them, because some bureaucrat thinks "I'll
be safer", should get a life! It wouldn't be bad *IF* the GFI's
had some
immunity to RF interference. The way they are being produced now
they are a royal pain in the backside. The chap who tore out the
GFI's and replaced them with the old type 3-wire duplex outlets
IMHO had the right idea. If you don't have small kids or morons
in the house, who needs them?

Gee, we had "hot chassis" AC/DC radios/devices for years and
years and nobody whimpered about it, we just were wary and used
some everyday common sense. If one plays with dynamite and
doesn't
know what one is doing, he better let the dynamite ALONE! On the
other hand, we can get into serious trouble nowadays for trying
to "educate" our kids who are doing some errant act!
