HW-9 Readout?

Hello all------

Has anyone successfully used an ordinary frequency counter as a direct
frequency readout for the HW-9?????

I just got my HW-9 and ALL the accessories.  Its a nice set, but the analog
dial is not as accurate as I need.

Seems I used a freq counter with an HW-8 some time back but the memory goes
quickly.

Any suggestions, comments, etc?????
