ID-4001

It seems that a number of ID-4001 units are failing due to zorched CPUs.

If anyone has a unit that they can't figure out how to update and/or
get a replacement CPU, I'm thinking it might make a neat set of
sensors to use in one of my classes here (either with a PIC or Motorola
HC11 cpus). I could lay out a SMALL (!) amount of money for a zapped unit,
or you could put a value on it via a tax-deductable donation to the
school here.
