Having a problem with GR-2700

I have a console GR-2700, built and operated almost daily since 1990.
Its been a good set with only a couple times interrupted service due to
disintegrating solder connections on the main PC Board.

I'm asking for thoughts on what might be wrong from owners of the same
or similar set . . .

The set turns on either locally or via remote . . . but no horizontal
output or picture for that matter . . . not even program channel sound
(a low level hum and thumb in speaker from on/off action) is all . . .

I believe the problem may be either "kick start" start up of sweep
circuit or something (horizontal output transistor?) in sweep module . .
.

The "150 VDC" that feeds from the main board (at the bridge of
CR3273/CR3274) measures 170 VDC . . . like there may be an "open."

I'll have to disassemble and clean off the soot to get a better look . .
. but in the meantime anyone experience a similar situation?

Thanks,

John, K3NJ
