Unfortunately, I have to agree with Larry Knapp on every point. We all wish
Heathkit was still making kits, but probably for mostly nostalgic reasons.
I'm not sure today's kids would have any interest in building electronic
kits, even if they could build their own Super Nintendos. Chances are you
might not have many more customers than there are subscribers to this list.

If you should decide to go ahead with starting a new kit company, I wish you
the best of luck, and suggest that you offer kits that are very innovative,
unique, and inexpensive, and be prepared to spend lots of money on
advertising.
