Soldering - is it carcinogenic?

Carcinogenic or not, I suggest not breathing fumes if you can avoid it
(ventilation, dust mask?), don't lick circuit boards not matter how yummy
they may look, and avoid making cocktails with flux.

That's if you've already had children (I don't want you to drive up
healthcare expenses further)

On the other hand, if you really feel the need and you haven't had kids
yet, GO FOR IT!! And smoke some crack when you're done.
