Re freeing up stuck rotary switches.

Jack.. in really tough cases I have used Liquid Wrench sprayed on lightly. After a few minutes spray on some Electronic Contact Cleaner and try the switch again. On one really gummed up unit I borrowed my wife's hair dryer and used it to direct hot air at the shaft and bearings because the lube had solidified. After I got it moving I used liberal doses of contact cleaner and lots of rotations.

Like chicken soup, couldn't hurt - might help..

If you are looking for a replacement switch for the VTVM (IM11 or V7A), I have one.
