SB-401&SB-303 Ticking noise

Ok....disconnect the mic, key the 401 by grounding the MIC PTT line
with a wire clip or similar and see if the noise is still present..
if not, its in the mic! (Does it do this with another mic? that will
also tell you where the problem lies)

still have the SB600 spkr!!...and those who responded earlier to my
ad on it, I WILL contact you...had a HD messup and a lot of my inbox
got scrambled...still trying to recover all the msgs!)
