SB-104

I don't even own an SB-104, but have a suggestion anyway.... :-)

Rather than use an adapter, with a big "UHF" style connector / adapter
hanging out there (probably with a piece of RG-8 sticking out of the
mating UHF connector) make up a small one foot length of RG-58 with a
male "phono" plug on one end and the female "UHF" on the other end.

Otherwise after using the adapter solution the center connector of the
sacred "original" connector will be so "wallowed out" that you'll have
to replace it anyway!!

Phono connectors are fine at RF, but they don't do well if the male
connector is being shoved around by a half-pound of "stuff" hanging on
it!

Just a thought...
