And, it is as good as a type "N" up to at least a GHz
as well! A number of years ago a local amateur who
worked at the Texas Instruments Company r.f. lab made
a lot of "fun" about the fact that both Heath and
Collins used the RCA phono jacks. Then, he actually
made a number of measurements on various connectors at
the lab. He was "man enough" to make his findings
"public" and admitted that Heath and Collins knew what
they were doing.
