Hello List...After lurking on this list, I figured that asking some help
with a Marantz 10B would hopefully be not off topic too much :)
I'm sure that some of you out there are familiar with this product. I have
one that I am restoring (electronics-wise) and I need some parts.
First off, all of this talk about RCA connectors. My unit has single ceramic
RCA connectors. A couple if them have the ceramic insert broken. Now for
those of you familar with the kind of ceramic RCA being talked about here,
these are not quite the same. These RCA's are single, and are designed with
a threaded outside with matching nut. Anyone have any source for these, or
have some for sale. This Heathkit/Marantz/McIntosh/Tubenut would be
eternally grateful!
While I'm on the Marantz 10B, I need source for original or replacement
Diodes for same. The original was made by Hewlett Packard, and the P/N is
HPA 2034. From what little I understand about this diode, a modern
equivilent might be a hexfred. Anyone have any ideas? These diodes, (There
are 4 in a bridge) are used in the detector circuit, I believe.
73's, and thanks for any help in advance!
Gene Lambert
