O rings, Dial cords

Yes! In fact the SB-100 came with dial cord and the manual shows how to
string it. The problem is syncing up the two driver capacitors. I solved
this by cutting the driver shaft between the two pulleys and rejoining with
a shaft coupler. Using dial cord for the final loading capcitor instead of
2" O-rings is a lot easier on the capacitor bearing.

You can get the spings at either Orchard Supply or Lowes. 1/8 x 1.5 x .015
P/N C-1 will make two springs. (Home Depot doesn't seem to stock them.) I
got the string from a fishing friend -- I don't know what it was.
