Pray tell, what is the problem here? Having taken the time to read all of the many documents that eBay makes available to describe exactly what they do and how and why they do it, I really don't have any problems with it. I don't know how they can possibly do what they do, as well as they do it, and not collect the information they do, and handle it the way they do.

eBay provides a very valuable resource that has heretofore been unavailable... a true international auction site. No one is twisting anyone's arm to play the game here, but I really fail to find any problem with how eBay is setting the rules of play.

What am I missing??
