sb303 question

When used as a "stand alone" receiver, most SB-303
receivers will not work without the 50 ohm resistor
installed in the LMO output jack. They get all sorts
of spurious emissions and internal "tweets" unless the
resistor is installed. Sometimes the entire receiver
is "jammed". When the SB-303 is used with the SB-400
or SB-401 transmitter and the cables are "hooked up",
there are no problems.
It is not needed for the SB-300 or SB-301 to work
properly when used as a "stand alone".

Just an FYI...My 303, and 301 for that matter...have
always worked great without the resistor. Perhaps
they could work better???
