Antenna Question

Hey guys:
     Please forgive this non-Heath query, but I know you guys have collectively mucho amatuer radio experience, so I ask of you the following: I have heard that Hy-Gain is again producing the Hy-Tower, and if so, I might consider one to replace a R-7000 I have mounted on my roof ( at 16 feet height at base). Have any of you ever had the Hy-Tower? How does it perform, say compared to an R-7000 like I have, etc? Might it be worth my investment (they ain't cheap!)
