Probes again..

Hello,
  I was glad to see the thread again on the VTVM probes. I've acquired
one since the last onslaught. There was much discussion about the
resistor placement and such but I missed any info on the phone plug
remedy. Would anyone with that info PUH-LEEZ post it again or e-mail me
