Cable no prob. Static IP not needed. (was: Re: Soon to be gone)

WOW! That sure beats ours. We have been trouble free for about 6-8 weeks now, but
Time Warner used to regularly go down from about Spetember through January here.
Sometimes for DAYS AT A TIME!
Time-Warner/RoadRunner would NEVER let us know what was going on
and we could never get them to answer their phone.
To their credit they have improved a lot lately.
