HW8 Receive Gain

Hello All

This is both a test & an inquiry.  I have made it to the list if you are
reading this.

Question is:  I have an HW8 but very low receiver gain.  Ruling out a fault
in the alignment, is there a higher gain receive transistor you can put in
the front end of this radio.
