Upping one's own bidding.

If everyone goes to look at THIS particular item, you will find that the
reason the person bid three times in a row, upping the ante each time is
that he was bidding on the 19th of January and that someone (on the 17th)
had already bid higher ($77) than each of his three bids.  So what
happened in THIS case is that each time he bid, the system outbid him up
to the $77 value and he finally had to go above that to be in the lead.
