HO-10 Noise

Lou:  The noise you are experiencing is likely due to minute arcing between
the contacts and wafers of the CRT socket.  Tiny specs of dust get in there
over the years and can cause slight arcing after years of use.  I cured mine
by replacing the socket.  You might also be able to disassemble the socket,
clean it, and put back in service.  Hope this helps.  Joe K7MKS
