Sniping and heathkit prices on ebay

Interesting about the supersniper's comments and suggestions.  One way
to limit sniping would be to have all bids made less than a minute before
the
end held by ebay and the winner shown only after the time is up.  This
would
somewhat level the playing field for all concerned except for the well
heeled
who would still win by bidding an outrageous bid in the last minute,  So
as with
most things in life, money talks. However, ebay makes the commission on
the
HIGHEST bid and seems to have an inherent interest in not stopping
sniping.
