Hi Again folks,
Thanks for the replies but I made an error. I said grid leak but meant
grid current test.
The grid leak test is OK and calibrated as is the rest of the unit.
Found a lot of cold solder joints in the unit and replaced all
components during restoration. Almost a complete rebuild. Traced the
grid current circuit after restoring the switch. The unit as I
understand is a copy of a Hickok Tester and seems to be working
correctly but as I said the manual is very vague about the grid current
test. The grid current also varies with the settings of the tester with
no tube inserted. If one of you has this unit, would appreciate if you
would check this out. Later.
