Check with your local chrome plating shops. Typically, part of the chrome
replating process involves copper plating prior to the final plating
stages. They will be able to prepare your chassis for the replating
process also.

The DX-100 is finally painstakingly "un-built". Paint for the cabinet is
on order. Now, it's time to go through and test all the components and
purchase new ones where necessary. Looking forward to "building" the
DX-100 "kit". (Maybe I should pack all the parts up in paper bags, for
effect?)

Anyway, the chassis is in very rough shape. I'm planning on cleaning it
up, obviously, but what really needs to happen is it must be re-plated.
Anyone had this done in the past? Any recommendations as to who does
decent work on copper plating?

Tnx es 73,
Paul, wb9hgz
