Re; TT-1A grid current problem

Hi All,
Getting ready to pull what little hair left out. This is all with no
valve in the tester. The 12AV6 is OK. Tried another with same results.
Checked the spring loaded switch wiring OK. Disconnected the 12AV6
circuit and is OK. Even the VTVM probe will cause a deflection. G1 and
G2 circuits read in excess of 20 meg. The plate switch is causing
different readings in each position like there is leakage between plate
and grid, but can't find any. Haven't found any wiring errors yet. G1
and G2 are the same. Got to br a miss wire. Will check wiring of plate
switch next. Oh! the positions of the setting switches has no effect.
Any suggestions? Talk soon.
