Are you looking to satisfy the old kit building experiance, but would like a
useful radio when the solder dries??
I recently built the little Elecraft K1 QRP radio.
It was fun to build, the instructions are first rate, and the end result is
nothing short of amazing!
It works great.
I highly suggest it, and who knows.... Elecraft may grow to someday have a
"Heathkit-like" catalog.
