Hi, Joe;
The age of the equipment and the fact that the panel lights keep burning
out indicate that you need to reduce your voltage. At the time of
manufacture the standard line voltage was 115-117 VAC. Today it is 122
VAC. this overload can shorten the life of components. (Ever wonder why
so many people are looking for power transformers?) Under separate cover
I am sending you some info on voltage reducers. Good luck.
