Weather sealant for pc boards

The problem with the Dow-Corning potting compounds is that most contain
acetic acid which outgasses during the curing process. If it smells like
oranges, don't use it on PC boards. They do make a low outgassing compound
but it is super expensive.

My company came to the conclusion about 30 years ago that the best potting
compound is no potting compound.
