GR 78

 Have a friend who has a 78 and he has been pecking away at it for some time . He read the mail concerning the lousy audio. Says he does not have that problem.  Later he called me LL and told me he had checked his receiver against his schematic  and   found what he thinks might be a modification. 
  I am not certain I have the info correct but here is what he says.
  Cap part C413 100pf followed by r414 and 415.  Q402
 there is a 33k resistor here which is removed insert a .05 cap to Q402. If it isn't correct or clear I can get in touch with him and get it straight.  In any event what he has in the circuit is not as per the schematic.
