Operating Quirks of the Most Accurate Clock

Hi Ed,
Also have one of them critters that I built from the kit. The receiver board
came completed. It is not a very good receiver. Mine got zapped by lightning
several years ago and have been fighting it since. There were no alignment
instructions in the manual. Yes I too notice a lot of noise when the signal
is good on the Kenwood TS-940S indicating poor selectivity. Have had best
results at alignment using a good signal generator and a counter but still
not good enough. Live in central florida and use a 10 mhz dipole. The whip
antenna is a joke. The clock rarely goes to high spec. Have it connected to
the computer and love that feature. Perhaps someone has a mod that would
improve it. Luck and 73's.
