HO 10 Monitor Scope Trouble

I am experiencing severe electrical noise coming from my HO-10 monitor
scope. This can be heard in the receiver on HF frequencies above 7 MHz..
The noise sounds like power line noise, but definitely coming from the
scope.  Anyone ever experienced this problem and willing to pass along any
suggestions before I start any surgery?
