Heath Apache, SB 10 and Mohawk

The Apache is just fine and working great with my Collins R-388.  Glen Zook has my SB 10 and Mohawk just acquired to do his professional talents on the SB 10 and Mohawk.  Will have them soon.  Prior to getting them on line I just wanted to get some opinions  on hookup and operating techniques.  While it was first designed for AM work, with the SB 10 I have added SSB capability to the setup. Any comments on users with SSB experience with this combo.  Am pleased to be on line with the amateur gear of yesteryear.  Thanx for your time in responding to my query.
