DX100/SB-10

I had a DX-100B that I bought used in 1966(?). It had
already been modified to accept the SB10. I recall getting
with it the instruction manual (standard yellow Heathkit
issue) for installing the modification kit-- so apparently
Heath did sell such a kit. That DX-100B had an extra hole
in the front panel, and I recall seeing in the modification
manual that it TOLD you to drill the hole there for adding a
rotary switch, but then you couldn't put the rotary switch
there because filter caps on the chassis stood up right
behind there. (The wrong location they specified was
symmetric with some control that was already on the DX-100B.
The extra hole was about halfway up the front panel and
about 3 inches to the right of the freq. dial (if my memory
serves-- I parted with that rig a long time ago!))
