SB-301 Questions

John.... It is a great receiver! I consider it somewhere between the Collins
and the Drake.
The tuning should be smooth as silk. The tuning mechanism is a weak point.
The receiver usually needs a rebuild...perhaps even going in to the LMO to
oil things.
My 301 tuning was very stiff, but I took it all apart and re-assembled it.
It is now very smooth.
