SB Cabinet Colors

I have seen at least five different colors used on the
cabinets of the SB-Line! In fact, at one time I had
six different boxes (SB-110A, SB-301, SB-303, SB-401,
SB-630, and two SB-600s) and only two had the same
color cabinets (one SB-600 and the SB-303)! I found
an "off the shelf" Krylon paint that just happened to
be the same color as the two (more of a light green)
and repainted the cabinets of the others that needed
repainting.

The colors of the cabinets ranged from a very distinct
light green to virtually gray and all were definitely
"factory" paint jobs. I think that Heath used
whatever color was in the paint gun on that particular
day! All "kidding" aside, there seems to be no "rhyme
or reason" as to what color was used at a particular
time.

Those of us who have repainted a SB line cabinet know
of two basic colors: light green for early units and
blue-gray for later units.
