Virus hoax message

All -

The virus alert message recently posted has been acknowledged as a
 hoax.  The originator has sent his regrets to the list.

As list moderator, I approved the message as the last time a virus
 alert message was posted, I received a number of responses indicating
 that the list members were interested in this sort of information.
 Unfortunately, I do not have the time to validate such postings.

OK, so this was a hoax, it's been acknowledged, let's leave it at that.
