Attn GC-1195 or 1197 owners

I am currently working on a GC-1197 clock that has a problem with the diming circuit.  I dont have a book for this clock but on the schematic, it indicates that some resistors may be a different value within the dimmer circuit and it is explained on page 36 of the manual.  I would appreciate if someone with one of these manuals would take the time to tell me what it says on page 36.
